Had 1.5 inch Hub Centric wheel adapters added yesterday. Wanted to push the tire out a bit for a wider stance without buying new wheels and tires. I'm going to use the stock up first. Possibly going to change the adapters to 2 inch. Driver's front, passenger back and front all look good, but the driver's back didn't seem to push the wheel out. All the same adapters put on all 4 wheels. Any ideas why 3 pushed out and one did not? Really strange... I measured and its an inch less than the other 3.
Not sure how well you can see them. But it's pretty clear. I don't know how... All adapters were exact same.
No, I didn't check before. You mean all of our axles are not centered or just mine? lol What your suggesting also affects if I install new wheels and tires all the way around, I will have the same problem...
If that's the issue it will not change with new tires. Best way to check is remove tires and measure from frame to rotor. Also I should really ask, are you sure they all 4 spacers on?
Yes, I stood there and watched them put all 4 on, even helped. Also before hand, held each one in my hand, all the same size. I measured from frame to outside tire wall. Definitely off by an inch...
Haha, had to ask about whether it was installed because dumb shit just happens. I'm sure all of us know that. Axle not centered seems impossible but what do I know. Nuts left on studs behind 3 of the wheels? That can't be right.
Offset of that particular wheel different? Maybe move one if the good wheels to that position to verify?
Sorry for the late answer. No remedy yet. I am betting one wheel is different from the other 3. Haven't had time to test theory though. Will update when tested.
