actually funny you said that - I was just takling my friend / installer (thats why im driving 3 hours) and it is XPEL. He used to be a 3M installer but likes XPEL better. Fewer problems with coloration and he thinks better optics overall.. ill let u know - i have a 2013 Ford Edge Sport wrapped in 3M - thou its black so coloration is not really a problem there.

So I've meant to look at the door sticker because the computer showscreen 45 in each tire on mine too. Have to look into that. I'll have over 500 miles on mine by the end of the day.

Very happy for you VT! When you have a chance, I'd like to know the measurements from the ground to top of running board and ground to cab floor. I have issues with Uncle Arthur and trying to decide if I need to order a set of AMP Research Power Boards.

Hey sorry for the delay - was out of town - 400 mile road trip in new Raptor - ill post some comments shortly..

anyway the TOP of the aluminum step bar is 17 inch from ground - then another 9 inches to the floor/rug of the cab - so total of 26 inches from ground to cab floor - its a BIG step.. hope that helps..

so about 200 down to Trumbull CT to see my friend the XPEL installer and 200 miles back.. Trip down was light snow almost the entire time so i kept the Raptor in "weather" mode. Felt very stable and sure footed even on some covered roads at 55 and 60 mph. Thou gas milage suffered - was 16.9 for the trip that included about 20 or 25 minutes of stop and go traffic. Got all the painted areas of the front of the Raptor Xpel Ultimate covered including under the doors and the head lights- about 5 hours of work - then drove back. Road had dried out and most of the way home was "sport" mode. Milage actually improved to about 18 mpg. Less traffic and truck was in 10th gear most of the time - she does 2000 rpm at 70 to 75 mph and very quiet. This will be a great road trip vehicle. just for reference my last 2 long haul vehicles were a 2008 Porsche Cayenne (v6) sold to partially fund Raptor and a 2013 Ford Edge Sport - now the wifes car. Super comfortable seats. Stereo is good to very good and i have spent some money in my life doing stupid things to improve car audio. I'd say the system sound a little better than the Edge and about on par with the Bose system that was in the Cayenne. Still need to spend some time tweaking the settings but still not bad at all. I will say this, your source makes a pretty big difference. I used Sirius - sounded ok. I used bluetooth to phone sounded about the same. And i used my 160gb IPOD - all songs are ripped at 320kb VBR - sounded much better. I have another IPOD with lossless files on that I will try out in the next few days. Just a side note I pulled the Raptor into my friends garage for the Xpel install - he had 8ft wide doors - scary! took 10 minutes to get it in and another 10 to get it out - mirrors MUST be folded in. My doors at home are 9 ft - much easier but not a "no brainer"

anyway. as always happy to answer any questions if i can.. I'm praying for your trucks to come in soon..

I'm not getting near that mileage. About 13 mpg here, but then again I'm over 6ooo' elevation and I run it at 83 MPH.

Hey VT thanks for the review. Can you talk about the torque and horsepower in this bad boy?

Is closer to 2500 rpm. My FX4 got less than 15 mpg at that speed here. If I was on back roads doing 73 I'd get 17ish.
