Transmission skipping gears?

Hi all

I drive mostly in normal mode. Has anyone else noticed that in this mode 2nd and 4th gear get skipped? I am assuming this is in purpose? In sport mode this does not happen. Also if you switch to manual drive you have access to all the gears.

Just curious to see if anyone knows why this is?

yup that's normal based on the need......

 

It's for fuel mileage. If you are getting on it, it will not skip the years.

 

Yep. Kinda funny watching it skip all over the place. But yeah get on the throttle and it hammers through them one at a time!!

 

I give it another 2 weeks before we see this thread started again.
