Sorry incorrect, I checked late last night and showed in stock, matched the window sticker, and had pictures of RAPTORS on the lot taken by group members in area (not just dealership photos)... things starting to speed up. Members of the Raptor group have called... it's there/onsite and the Avalanche Screw (asking 10K ADM).
Luckily they should draw down most early builds within a few weeks and are shipping concurrently with new builds. Hopefully you will have yours soon and I can get scheduled.
I'm actually happy my truck hasn't been built yet. It looks like they haven't built any SCAB's for production, so I'm thinkin' Ima gonna get a fresh off the line truck with my CF trim as soon as they build the first run of SCAB's. Much better than sittin' in the lot for months... Then again, with my luck it'll fall off the train or sumthin...
Just saw a story on FOX business News about the Raptor, they said it was a software glitch with the 10 sp trans so it should be an easy fix, not like they have to drop the trans out or something serious.
Hey Intel I'm going through MAS, build date is 15th too. Looks like they grouped us in the same batch. Is MAS quoting you for a 30 May delivery as well? What you think of the odds of it really taking that long?
So I called my salesman that I've had for 4 car purchases . While I was on the phone he looked to see what Colorado is showing for shipped Raptors. He saw ones being built from Oct 10th to Nov 11th on rails now. Which unfortunate is not mine yet . But if this is true than some of you will be happy real soon. And hopefully mine won't be that far behind
Brother, my original build date was 12 Dec, Ford Service told me it got moved to the right which is 15th now. My delivery date is Feb. MAS puts those dates out to be safe. Remember if they don't deliver, you got a free rental until your beast shows up Your date is just a safe date, you will get yours sooner. The first batch is the problem now. Once big Ford figures their madness out, the late guys who Ordered probably won't have this much stress. Let's hope!
Talked to Colorado Springs Phil Long Ford at Chapel Hill and their allocation is projected to be at 4-6 weeks before they see it in their lot. And all their allocation which is 6 I think was sold out! I was going ask how much they are charging but it was too cold, I was cold, it was snowing, out of Copenhagen, figured I'd ask on a better day
