So I'm ordering my Raptor through a dealer and he just told me that the estimated earliest delivery date is beginning of 2017. I'm really bummed.
Anyone received a different estimate by a reliable source??

Same here boss. December to Jan. Keep in mind these dates are safe dates from the dealers. The actual facts are with the factory management team. Those real numbers/dates should be coming out soon. Either way, its best to wait because like any product we might learn a thing or two before it hits the road, and it'll give us time to change our orders. Speaking of orders, we cant order ours till the mid of this month or later. So remember, someone has it worst than you...LOL

If you are talking to me, than thank you for hurting my feelings..lol I am ordering through Military Auto Source (MAS) and the only thing I have done so far is secured a slot with a deposit. Their system wont be available to order until maybe later this month. Either way, I am getting blue balls just waiting and watching you guys talk about your orders...LOL

I'm told anything under 20 is good. That should basically prioritize your retail order to get built sooner than later for that given dealer, not before another dealer that may have a higher priority than your dealer. Bbut everyone has different things they have heard as to what that actually means

My order was initially a priority 19. I pointed this out to my dealer the next day and they changed it to a 10. Your dealer should have said 'too much hassle to go the computer and make a few keys strokes. I'm going outside to have a smoke'

I don't think priority really matters when it comes to an allocated vehicle like the Raptor. Allocations are scheduled differently for special vehicles like the Raptor. If it's anything like the GT350's, the allocations are scheduled by the quarter. IE, dealer x gets y allocations for 1st quarter, z allocations for 2nd quarter. etc etc I could be wrong, but that's what happened with the GT350's. The ford regional manager had to manually pull the order in order for it to get scheduled to be built.

All that being said, mine is priority 10 which is the highest. :banana-mario:

Yeah, it really doesn't mean much yet. When the process starts, it all kinda goes according to their SOP. I have a deal date of 7-21-16 with a priority 10. Big Wup
