Thanks for the add, learning a lot. So question is, any way to have cigarette lighter power outlet power off when truck is off? If not I need options for powering radar detector That I don’t have to remember to unplug every time I get out. Thanks
Check out https://www.mirrortap.com I have a blend mount (https://www.blendmount.com) and mirror tap for my Uniden R3; Found the model numbers I needed on those websites and bought them on Amazon. Extremely easy to install and never have to worry about running wires, powering off/on, suction cups, or it getting in the way of sunshades. Plus it keeps it off the wind shield for states where those mounts are illegal. Install video: Hope that helps.
