I'm a huge fan of these guys! I have been completely obsessed with the honey badger bumper since coming across these guys 5 months ago.. the problem(s) is, at least for me are... their stuff is sooo expensive but I also know you get what you pay too and their stuff looks solid. I have been able to save nearly 20k so far for goodies since ordering my truck. However, for me to get the honey badger bumper, with a wench and the lights. Not to mention the fact that you have to get the inter cooler kit to accommodate this set up. I'm looking at over 10k! Just buying the gear.. my next problem is, and really the main show stopper for me at this point. I don't know that I trust the guys that that I use to install, even despite the fact it's what they specialize in, to do the install correctly. I've looked at the install instructions for both. The bumper looks straight forward but the inter cooler mod is much more complex and I am way too OCD to let my truck be the first that they have ever done.. Let's face it, this is a bad ass, one of a kind truck that at the moment. Few are actually privileged enough to have. I have actually considered driving across the country to let ADD do the installation. Still may.. haven't decided if a bumper is really worth 15k..
Oh and if you get the tech package on your new truck will also need a adaptive cruise control relocation kit !!!
There's that too! Haha, the list gets longer but fortunately for us, they throw it in as a part of the $1500 inter cooler kit!
exact same issue here.. cant find any trusted installers or will be their 1st on the intercooler, winch, and cruise control relocate kits. even the dealer wont attempt it
Are these the new OEM wheels you get after you remove the beadlocks from your order? LOl... looks fugly
lmao. i finally found a experianced shop to do some after market installs if i ever get a truck. they did that as a good joke. props out to them https://www.facebook.com/4WPCoppell/?hc_ref=NEWSFEED&fref=nf
The intercooler kit isnt that bad to install, we do it in about 4 hours. But most shops that are doing this for their first time average around 6 hrs. They can call us during the install if they need help being walked through it! If you get the intercooler kit, the adaptive speed control bracket comes with it. We have had several Ford dealer do the installs, but of course every dealer is different. I would call around.
Do you guys, or anyone else on here know of proper front and back mud flaps yet???? This is the most important aftermarket I need at the moment, or I'm gonna destroy my paint job. I have a horrible lease road to travel that is close to 20 miles long. Even at less than 15 MPH these tires sling mud, dirt, rocks, etc. from bottom to top on the truck. Please help.
