Yeah Dog, I get that. But the tune won't mess with the warranty .... another thread. I put the MPT tune in and it is the shit. The trans tune is nice, not perfect, but definitely much better. Overall improvement is awesome. I just can't get past the snake oil aura of the P.C. and the way it works.
All I can say is WOW! The PC is awesome, no snake oil sheltered! It was inexpensive, took 10 minutes to install, and brought the driving experience up substantially. The throttle is very responsive (unlike stock) and is a real noticeable difference. I started it out on the "sport mode" and haven't taken it off yet. I think its perfect because it gives you the feel of a "tuned" truck when you are driving around day to day. If you are racing and put the pedal down 100% then the PC doesn't do anything for you because you are already at 100% throttle, but in practicality the majority of the time the truck is not 100% throttle and the driving experience is significantly enhanced with much better acceleration with the PC and you will notice it immediately out of the box on your very first trip out of the driveway. Hope this helps anyone on the fence looking to get the PC, I was a skeptic early on now a believer after running it on my truck. Highly recommend.
