true, but for now i have "enough" light haha...i'll keep this in mind when i run out of ideas for shit to do to the truck.
this is true...i was messing with some wiring the other day b/c i didn't give enough slack to one of my cubes on the front bumper. fixed it, tested and never switched the aux switches off. drove from my house to my parents, probably mid afternoon or so, was starting to get dark. i'm that asshole on a major highway with every single one of my lights on...i didn't realize till i got up close to the rear of a minivan and saw all the glare. what a dick haha.
I really thought I was going to fill up the 4 Aux switches. 1&2 are forward off road lights and 4 is for rear dust/snow light. Now if I were to ever get a new bumper then look out I might fill that last one! I am envious to some at Snoball that can light a square mile of the forest!!
apart from the rogues, svc, and rpg framehorn cut bumpers, i don't like very many...but, that alpha 1 viper bumper is the tits...
I still have to use AUX2 but that will be in amber bar in the front now that I have my new bumper. Right now all I have are 4.5's in the front and I thought they were good until I saw the Disco Raptor light up pretty much an entire block. It was impressive.
It's not too hard to start filling up switches. Factory panel: Aux 1: train horn Aux 2: empty for now Aux 3: rear amber Aux 4: power to overhead switches Overhead panel Switch 1: 20" bar in lower bumper Switch 2: 40" behind grill Switch 3: hood mount light cannons Switch 4: outside duallies for cornering Switch 5: empty for now Switch 6: inside duallies with amber covers for fogs Still want back up and rock lights.
For me maybe 2 switches on or near the steering wheel for main Aux lights and the rest over head would work very well. I do want more lighting at some point but for now its rear springs, shocks and bump stop on the GEN1.
