Loving the new location of the Aux switches. There were vendors making overhead panels just like this for the Gen 1, and IMO is a great spot for them. How quickly will you fill up the new switches?
I actually don't like the location at all, especially if you are having to turn on switches while moving in the raptor. As far as filling them up, I think most new raptors will be street queens and will only need 1 switch to operate the coin dispensary for the shopping carts at the mall.
Much better than existing switches. I was always knocking the gear shift when reaching for them. When I relocated the trailer brake and put an additional factory 4-aux panel there, it was a MUCH better location and easier to access. @2014RubyRed might be able to fill you in on which he prefers since he has the overhead and stock.
I like both locations, but the overhead switches were, IMO, much easier to reach. At TRR last year, I had them all full, top and bottom, so the extra switches that are going to be on this new model will be a welcomed addition. We are currently working on a answer for additional locations for more switches......
I would still like to have 2 switches by the shifter or maybe on the steering wheel for primary aux lights. I find reaching up that high quickly trun off my big lights awkward. I run a lot of back roads so the faster I kill those light the better for oncoming traffic. Some of the reasons I don't make them high beam triggered is I don't like to run my high beams much since the beam pattern is not very good and that limits the lighting configuration combos. It also makes the wiring complex and finicky. I like the overhead switches for other options for sure.
I agree. I haven't run the overhead switches, but even running the factory upfitters was a pain to turn on/off at a moments notice. Once I added my second panel in the trailer brake location, it became much easier to turn them on and off quickly, but I like your idea on a steering wheel integration location.
We haven't had a chance to get up close to the new truck yet. The regular F150's aren't the same obviously, with all the terrain management dials and such, so it may be an interesting project. Although the previous switch panels that we sold involved cutting the headliner, it seemed like a lot of guys were ok with that. It may be a different story when we offer a console or dash cut option. We will let everyone know when we start development and make sure to get some feedback on possible options.
I have the power for my overhead switches wired to the upfitter #4 just for that option to kill all lights quickly. I think it would be nice to have a switch close to the steering wheel that could be wired to do this.

i have them in both locations and have yet to fill up the oem switches, still have a bunch left i need to use.
I'm thinking about putting a blow up doll and popcorn machine in the bed in case I get stock in the mall parking lot over night. Aux 4 should be good for that.
I wonder what AMP rating will be on each switch. I also have the Crown Offroad overhead switches and have all used up except one, so using 9 total switches when including factory. Overhead is easier to reach.
