I love my roof on my 13 FX4. Tilt it up and open the back window and you get tons of airflow without the noise of the side windows. My only problem wth the new one is that you need to have the shade back to tilt the roof open. I don't like the hot sun on my head.
Went without, we have it in the wife's SUV and don't use it. A buddy's 2011 Raptor is having problems with leaks. I opted out, less headaches and probably lack of use.
Ordered with Moonroof. It's nice to have the natural light come in, open most of the time and unless you really plan to take your $65k truck out for a beating then you shouldn't have a problem.
I agree I've had them in all my trucks in past and used it rarely. Im more concerned with rattling and leaks. BUT and it's a big but will it look like a football field of headliner in the super crew all plain and blah ? I'm on the fence still have time to change according to dealer.. this sux anyone else feel the same? To glass or not to glass?
I want mine so my legs can stay warm during winter as I hunt from the truck or better yet ice fish without leaving the truck...LOL
