my newest eta is 4/27 - 5/1 so I don't have my raptor yet but that's what I will be running . as with most autos you will get better mpg's with premium and the price will offset the better mpg's and cleaner for the engine.

Agreed. We all know we didn't buy this for mpg. But seriously, I know we have a gas thread , but haven't seen anyone put up reliable data one way or another. I've been driving premium for 14 years and sick of it. Want normal gas.

Don't know why you would want to run premium with a truck that takes regular gas. I would not have bought the truck if it required premium. You are looking at 30% higher fuel prices and will not receive 30% more performance. Hell, it is already a raptor how much more performance do you need!?

by my calculations it cost .02 to .027 per mile to run 93. the math : reg 87 is $2.19 and 93 prem is $2.65 . so at $2.19 @ 17MPG =12.8 cents per mile . now $2.65 @ 17MPG = 15.5cents per mile ( and that's if you don't get better MPG'S ) I'm not trying to turn anybody to 93 ,it could be snake oil IDK but that my thoughts on . 1 more thing ? do you run the cheapest oil you can find ? I don't either .

    owners manual -
For best overall vehicle and engine performance, premium fuel with an octane rating of 91 or higher is recommended. The performance gained by using premium fuel is most noticeable in hot weather as well as other conditions, for example when towing a trailer.

    for what its worth..

I run 93 octane only - have 4300 miles so far and lifetime mileage is 16.8 mpg - 40% highway and 60% 20 to 40 mph back roads - very little traffic..

I ain't no damn mathematician but I know that the higher fuel I get the better the mileage is. I tried mid grade 3x and noticed it was going fast versus high grade. I am in Colorado so maybe altitude has something on it.
It's a Raptor. Why feed it grass and dandelion when you can feed it...meat.
