Class suit against Ford for Gen 2 Raptor

Should there be a class suit against Ford for releasing Gen 2 Raptor for defective engine and transmission.

 

And why are you bringing this up? Get a grip. If you look at the failure percentages(no, I'm not posting them. Look them up yourself seeing as you started this.) they are well within acceptable production standards. This is a very owner active participant vehicle and with the age of lightning fast communication bad news, more so than good travels fast. I'm not disputing any claims of failures, but you're setting a precedent and have facts to back this up? Or are you simply making casual conversation?

I have 20k miles on mine, drive it like the Raptor it is. No Engine or Transmission problems to date! To that note, I've dialed mine up to 575hp/630trq on tap and that's not even scratching the capability of the Engine or Transmission.

Also as noted in this thread, yes a few people have had an issues here and there. Unfortunate for sure for all of them. But those incidents are rare compared to how many of these trucks are now on the market. Unfortunately, you have to expect a mass production vehicle as these really are to have some random issues here and there. It sucks when it happens and it sucks more to be the one it happens too. However, I've not heard anyone have a blow the motor or detonate a transmission.

So what's the point of a class action lawsuit if there's not a valid history of problems?

Traptor, I feel for you with your issues. But you have just started a shit show first with this thread and now with telling us we are blinded by loyalty and attacking members that have been on here since before the 2nd gen came out. If there are this many of us in here with no major issues with our truck and only 1 or 2 with your issue then I'd say there is no basis for a law suite. But either way good luck to you. Now either play nice or go away.

BTW, I have 18k miles and my biggest problems are a rattle and faulty seal that had been fixed.

Discussion? I haven't seen one meaningful thing posted by you. You come in here with a couple one liners and act like you have a right? I'm the first one to stand up when there's a decent argument to be had, but you just come up empty. I won't lower myself to your level with your degenerate name calling, but I'm close. Try at least making a case for why you even have own a Raptor, then we'll talk, but Ima thinkin' you should at least post a picture of it.
