I was looking up some things on build and price and noticed another 395. price increase , don't know when it started but I ordered on 2/26/17 and now the build is 395. higher
Looks like the SCrew went up $405 in base price since I ordered on 2/3 ..... So I wonder if my dealer is going to add that on top of the "premium" they are charging me??? Grrrrr....
In case you didn't see another post I did - Ford honors the price at the time the order was put into your dealer. (not when it goes to Ford). the once you pay/pickup your truck, the dealership gets hit on the back end invoice for the price increase. The dealership submits a price protection notice to Ford who then refunds the price increase to the dealer. You see none of it. Rest easy.
My dealer made me pay MSRP witch included the price increase, and made me fell like I was getting a deal cause he didn't make me pay $5,000 over.
Did you order? Or pull off the lot? If you ordered, you have a business complaint for the bbb and ford.
Ordered, will have to look into this more but don't know what can be done about it after the fact. After waiting 6 months and being jerked around it's like just give me the f...ing truck.
As long as you ordered before price increases(you did), you have an unscrupulous claim about the dealership with the bbb. I would also let Ford know about what the dealership did in the form of a complaint. This is utter bullshit, and should not be tolerated. The dealership is pocketing extra cash, YOUR cash, that they are not entitled to. I would be ballistic if I were you. I'm pissed writing this response.
Honestly, I literally try to imagine that I forgot what color I even ordered. Also, start looking up the dodge pick up and other half tons to pass the time!!!!! I tested this theory out then I went to the my local ford dealership up the road to look at two raptors on their show room with an ADM of $10,000 and it was like the first time seeing a gen 2 all over again. Or just order thousands of dollars of shit for the truck that you still don't have like I and many others have done. For some odd reason it makes it less painful and tightens up your accounting skills!!!
