Aftermarket exhaust

Corsa is too loud, raspy, and drones. It amplifies all of the poor tones. If you go with Flowmaster, it fixes all of that and gives you a deep rumble like you hear above. It is the only muffler that cancels out the raspy high pitch noise.

 

Huge load of crap. CORSA is one of the best performing exhausts available, and is of great quality. Same goes for Borla. The CORSA has absolutely no drone, and is not raspy either. The Sport system has a medium sound level (sufficient for most people), but the Xtreme can be quite loud under load. Same for the Borla S-type, and ATAK. Plenty of videos and reviews on youtube if you do a quick search.

 

Actually, Flowmaster is the worst sounding I've heard. But hey, what do I know?

 

Everyone has their own tastes. If not then there wouldn't be all of these companies making similar products.

 

Installed Borla S-Type Yesterday! Very pleased with everything! It screams when you floor it! Also has a nice Idle sound as if its packing under the hood! Cruising around has that rumble too!

All in all I am very pleased with everything Borla had to offer!

 

I LIKE THAT! It has a good strong low tone. That is just a muffler swap or is that a Cat Back?

 

This is a muffler swap. Corsa and Borla have quality products but they make the ecoboost sound terrible.
The reason that Flowmaster works on the ecoboost is that their noise canceling gets rid of the poor ecoboost high pitch raspiness rather than amplify it. This is a nice, smooth option that will turn heads in a good way.

 

So the video is definitely not on a raptor. I want to hear it on the Raptor before I pull the trigger. I would assume there will be quite the difference with the dual exhaust etc.

 

Yea that's b.s. corsa is by far the best sounding exhaust for the raptors. Borla is extremely raspy. Corsa is not. I have the extreme and extremely pleased. Girls atak was put on a raptor at my friends shop and it sounded awful . at start up it was good but give it gas and it sounded terrible.

Corsa extreme has absolutely NO drone AT ALL. I own it. The extreme is a bit loud yes I agree but no drone and tad raspy at wot but nothing compared to the girls atak

 

Why would sound be different on raptor? They offer this in the same dual rear exit as raptor. Sound will be same as video.

 

Really!? The video is the side exhaust. The tunes are completely different. The Raptor exhaust is true dual off the motor and 3 inch, if memory serves me, all the way. All of that would surely make a different sound.

 

Looks like Corsa is no longer offering the Extreme, ONLY the sport would you compare that to the Borla S-type??
