Hey Guys, Didn't see one one here and I have a few questions if anyone has a front ADD with the light bar on top of the bumper, how bad does it block the front view camera?
Hey Kris, I reached out to my contact down at ADD a while back with the same question and he said it cuts out about 2' of vis right in front of the truck .
Skip to 5:40 in the video to give you the answer to your question Kris Dawson. Keep in mind they do have the light bar installed as well but really hinders the view in my opinion.
I'm sure Gdog's view won't be hindered as bad but we will have to wait and see his pic that he posts. Front bumper does look sick though! Gdog, truck looks sick though
Great post! Wondering if all of the bumpers with that cross bar are in the exact same location? Also, as i don't have my truck yet to look but i'm wondering if the camera can be relocated upwards to accommodate the view? Anyone with their truck already????????
Great post. Different topic though, why would they pay almost a grand and then pull of the decals and through them in the trash? Must have money to burn.......
Yeah I saw that too lol!!!! Ripped off both the hood and side bed graphics!!! One day I'll sit outside when another F5 tornado rolls through and let $100 bills just fly out of my wallet, at least that way it will be a cooler way to waste money!!!!
You make a good point, it really makes me wonder if any companies will make an aftermarket grill that includes another camera that will integrate with the factory system and possibly eliminate the issue of your view running an aftermarket front bumper.......only time will tell
In all honesty I absolutely love the way the stock front bumper looks on this Gen 2!!! The whole front end just flows and I feel the design team nailed it!!!! Once the kits start rolling out for the cutouts to install the LED bezzles it will complete the look I'm going for. I'm not one to loose sleep for only utilizing 1-2 of the auxiliary switches.
