Not yet.... got my truck on Friday, been enjoying and testing every aspect of this rig...... I do feel that Ford left alot on the table with this motor! I do have some svt vehicles... for reference. The suspension is amazing! A little light in the rear compared to gen1, totally different ride.... better, lighter! Very quick feel! Overall, I love it.... need to maximize the potential HP..... I'm guessing it puts out around 375 HP to the wheels. Give me 500HP to the rear wheels.....with mods and we are golden! Oh... Baja mode is the ah ..hah moment.... what the truck was made for.... try it on your local dirt roads WOT!!
No worries... Hennessy is way overpriced for me. I'm sure by summer there will be a good selection of bolt on parts available.
the new 3.5L in the Raptor is the first engine in the Gen2 EcoBoost family. Its very different from the older 11-16 3.5L ecoboost, most significant to our interests is the addition of port injection on top of the direct injection. The Intercooler remains the most important starting point. The biggest hurdle for real power is the new PCM and tuning/calibration. The obd port plugins are a joke and real calibration software simply is not mature enough for customer use. It will take a little more time than we'd like - but the sky is the limit with these "dual injection" ecoboost gen2 engines. especially with big turbos and a proper standalone computer
Well off the shelf, there is SPD performance Exhaust Adapter for 21HP; and JMS BoostMAX for another 60Hp, and you got yourself 531HP.. 15% loss to rHP = 451rwHP.. New Muffler with CAT deletion should get you comfortably within 500rwHP range. http://www.spdperformance.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=566_567 $227 total http://www.jmschip.com/boostmax-wor...gine-adds-additional-boost-power-and-economy/ $309 Overall cost $227+309 = $536 New exhaust possibly $1500 So total about $2000 and you got yourself a 500+rwHP Raptor.. Take that Hennessey!!!
