Question for those in the know, do I need to do a pedal calibration with this on every once and a while?
Exactly, For the price of this or the JMS set up i get what a few grand for software tuning and replacement hardware so that it all works. 20min, plug and play. You get a rocket truck!!!! And in about 5min i can disconnect if i don't want the dealer to know i have it.
Ordered mine on Monday and it showed up Wednesday, hope you all found the coupon for $30 off, making it $269. Like everyone else, I was wondering just what it would do, and everyone knows it takes the lag out, plus. Tried the City mode first and that's perfect for all around town, then I tried Sport, unbelievable the response difference and it will light up the tires, can't wait to try Sport+. But anyway, that's one more thing off the list of things to do. Goy my Oil Separator from CJ Pony and hopefully that's the last thing to do..........maybe. You all take care
PC Sport+ in combination with Ford sport driving mode is just too much. Almost backed through my garage door. Could have sneezed in the direction of the accelerator pedal and moved the truck. Be careful!
Thanks MtopRaptor for that info. As of yet I've never tried the FS. The problem I'm having since day one is, coming off an exit ramp, doing 30-40 and hit it, it won't downshift, which makes it real interesting pulling into traffic. I was hoping the PC would eleviate this, but, No. I'll give it a couple more tries and if it doesn't get better, it's almost time for the first oil change, I'll bring it to the attention of the dealer.
S o I just installed my pedal commander and I can defiantly say this makes a difference in the throttle response as well as how the trans shifts it is much smoother and no longer has the hesitation. Definitely worth the money!
Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner, just saw your post. I tried finding it again and couldn't. I called them before ordering mine just to make sure it was legit , so give them a call, it might have been a promotional thing but worth touching base with them. It's one of the most bang for the buck you will find. 5 minutes is all it takes to hook it up. The only problem I have is on a hot day the double sided tape lets go. Good luck
You guys talked me into it! I just pulled the trigger on the Pedal Commander and wanted to make mention of the discount I got on ebay. They were the only company selling with "make offer" so I submitted $280 and it immediately accepted, Also in addition to this I received an EBAY coupon through email earlier this week for $20 off if you spend over $100 on a car part. All in all I got it for $260 out the door shipped to my house, I think that was pretty decent, just sharing here in case anyone else wants to follow my lead. Actually, if I were you knowing that $280 was accepted, I would try $270!!!! Hope this helps someone.
