Hello all! It has been some time since I've posted and I would formally like to introduce you all to my Gen 2!

    IMG_2736.JPG

    Mods include:
    ADD Honeybadger w/40" spot/flood combo
    ADV.1 20"x12.5" MV6 CS wrapped w/35" Nitto Grappler M/Ts
    Bakflip Bedcover
Brembo 6 piston front/4 piston rear with custom orange logo
RPG Off-road 1.5" coil perch collars
    Tikore titanium lugs
    Xpel stealth wrap

She really turned out.. that is until today.......

With 6600 miles and sitting at a sonic in park. I started getting the following compounding System faults:

    ABS fault
    Hill decent control fault
    Power train malfunction/reduced power
    4 Wheel drive fault
    Electronic power steering system
    Traction control fault
    Airbag fault
    Front camera fail
    Parking assist fail
    Electric Trailer brake connection
    911 assist failure
    Lane departure assist failed
    Forward collision not working
    No cruise control

All in a span of 10 minutes!!! Got to the dealership at 2:05 and they closed at 2:00 and won't reopen until Monday.. :(

The truck drives fine, no leaks, apparent transmission issues, brake issues. The only thing really noticeable is the steering wheel problem via more control force required to turn the wheel..

Crazy shit y'all! I'm trying to keep my head up but it is discouraging none the less..

Just curious if any similar issues have come through as of late??

    Will

The bad thing is.. I LOVE MY TRUCK! Not sure if it's because I waited 170+ days for her or because even despite here maaaannnny flaws right now. She's still flipping awesome.. i just hope it's something simple like an ECU swap..

    Front camera
    Terrain management
    4x4

    Park aid

So I just arrived at the service dept and just got told that they can't even look at my truck for six days.... the one that's 4 months old with zero traction control, brake faults, no airbags and zero power steering..(along with the other 12 faults or failures)

I was then told that Ford doesn't give cars.... so I guess I'll just get back in this death trap and head back home....

    Pissed doesn't even come close......

    Suggestions???

suggest you ask to speak to the GM of the dealership now.. Not the service manager not the sales manager the fucking GM. Ford gives loaner cars all the time and they have contracts with local car rental companies. You didn't pay this kind of cash for a ford flagship truck to be jerked around. Time to stand on someone's neck and get this shit fixed !! I wish you the best

Did you buy the car there? If so I would talk to your salesman first. My salesman always makes sure I have a car. If he can't do anything then run up the management chain. Even going to regional manager if needed. I was in Guam years ago and went all the way to the regional manager in Korea before I got the help I wanted.

But I do have a question. How do you know of these faults? Are they just lights on the dash? I would like to think any service guy would not send you back on the street with a vehicle they weren't completely sure was safe. It's a lawsuit and safety thing. I'd play that card when I'm talking to people.

So, I did just what gdod suggested and went straight to the GM. Luckily for me, he was personally involved in my deal from the jump. The service manager there was awesome too. When I told both of them that their retarded ass service advisor basically told me to get back in my truck(with no airbags, brakes, traction control or power steering of any kind) and come back in six days. The service manager flipped his f'ing lid and had a brand new truck pulled around in five minutes.. so once someone with sense and authority showed up. Things got much better.

I also called FP to at least let them know about the problem. Mainly so it's annotated on their end for future issues and to plant the seed should I need to escalate..

To answer the latter question about how I knew.. yes multiple maintenance lights illuminated, warning/fault advisory boxes appeared on the info screen and my radio/navigation was yelling at me constantly.. especially the 911 assist which is also tied to the airbag light evidently.. I also received every error/fault notification via ford pass app on my phone..

    Now we wait.......

    Update.....

as of yesterday afternoon all systems were back online and operational except forward collision, cruise control and rear camera.. the radar module for the forward collision and cruise control was completely shorted out and another had to be ordered.. root cause was two network wires(blue/white) pinched between the bumper and body. The white wire completely broke in half and caused all of the chaos. They ordered the new radar module(1400.00 parts and labor, compliments of the ADD authorized install shop that put it on)and evidently got it on the truck because I started getting messages on my phone for forward collision faults..
have not heard from the service manager today but I'm hoping to get my girl back tomorrow..

    More to follow...

The good news is the two big issues we've had on our new Raptors weren't because of faulty Ford parts.

Yes indeed! I was almost relieved that it was due to the installer having his head up his ass.. Atleast then I could rule out the possibility of it becoming an electronic lemon

Well that is a relief. Kinda. Glad it was stupidity and not system failure. I do my own work and have paid very careful attention to the fact there is a shit ton of wires and sensors in the nose of the truck. I can ALMOST see how you could pinch wires if your head was completely inserted up your rectum....
