Hey guys, it seems there was a large leak in the windshield that wasn't visible for whatever reason on quality check when hail damage was fixed. It seems to have run behind the dash where I couldn't see it onto control modules and short circuited the battery. Good news is there doesn't seem to be permanent damage and truck runs well. Ford has been really exceptional about things, sending two drivers to pick her up from Jackson today and being proactive about making sure electronics are ok once it gets back. I won't name the body shop, they were professional. I think it's an honest mistake but I'm made it clear I want 100 percent reimbursement of the s#^%show since. This thing thing was a 2 ton missile when it lost power on me. Luckily no bad outcome. Vikes, I think I'll keep her haha.

moral of the story..before you start throwing stones at ford make sure your repair shops and aftermarket shops that either fixed or added goodies to your truck didn't fuck something up in the process!!:praiseme:

Yea its a good moral. Well see how she runs. I really must say that the proactive efforts of Stephen (service coordinator) at Phil Long Ford in Denver have been nothing but over and above and impressive, frequent updates and quarterbacking the whole thing. I think some of you picked your raptors up there as well. The body shop has been laser sharp on reimbursements too. Will post on anything that can be learned as it may come up.

    So let me recap...
The windshield leaked down behind the dash and got into the bcm and ccm
the modules somehow dead shorted the battery
    they replaced the battery
the control modules are somehow miraculously ok?

once the moisture dried the truck ran normally over about 40 miles of driving. leak fixed, still runs normally. No need to replace anything at this point. To my knowledge it was driven 8 hrs home with no issues from jackson Wyoming and will have full evaluation by techs at ford dealer in Denver....and hoping everything still runs fine. Will keep updated

Final update. Truck is running beautifully. She's run about 1000 miles since issues were resolved. Just got her leveled.

That looks like a front-end lift rather than "level".
