Is anyone else experiencing a rough idle, especially at startup, when the AC is running?

It almost feels like an old carbureted engine with a dirty carburetor. My truck has 2,300 miles on it and I can't imagine it's the plugs or injectors. The truck accelerates smoothly and consistently, just rough at idle and it seems to just be when the AC system is running.

It's not something I can really show on video. It's a shudder you feel on cold starts. I found a thread on the other forum about this and it seems a lot of guys are feeling it but general consensus is it's not a concern.

I have the same thing, actually I have a rough idle all the time. But maybe its because I live in Texas and I always have my AC on. I used to have a 2013 ecoboost F150 and it did the exact same thing, so I just started believing its just an ecoboost thing. Just my opinion.

Yes, "cold start" meaning the engine is cold when I start it up. i.e. the truck sat all night and I start it in the morning to head to work. This is when I experience it.

I live in Texas as well and have my AC on most of the time. I took delivery of my truck at the beginning of May when I wasn't running the AC as much. Started noticing it over the past two months. Regarding an ecoboost thing, I found several threads on the other forum where rough idle with AC on was a challenge with the Gen 1 and the 6.2L. I believe most owners were told "this is normal" by their dealer.

Swe, to your point, I took my 2013 F150 ecoboost to the dealer for "rough idle" and was told nothing is wrong and that 1 out of 5 ecoboosts have rough idle and that it is totally normal. Standard dealership visit experience, but that's what I was told. Nothing was ever wrong with the truck it just had rough idle so I began to just get used to it.
