So I am on the fence: Do I get a bracket and do 2x2 or 3x3 rigid lights? or do a 10" rigid light and bolt it in? The rigid cubes can get expense quick; and the bar could be a better alternative. I don't know - what are your guys thoughts? PS - and no I don't give two chits about street legal.
I am doing the 3 light setup from raptorlights.com The vision x amber halo that has backlighting Waiting on shipment now
i am leaning towards raptorlights.com as well.. looks like they spent some time and energy getting the fit and finish sorted.. and i like that we can custom fit which lights / colors we want..
I say you open up the wallet and get a kick ass aftermarket bumper! Then you can increase your lighting options...
Yea - I think I am going to buckle and get the ultimate with the squadrons. If I am going to use them I might as well blind everything in front of me when I do. question - what do the amber lights give you? Any actual need or use for them?
The BD lights can be fitted with a number of different color lense filters. You can change them at will. I put the rock guard yellow on because of the heavy fog we get here, and they work awesome at cutting through it.
New fog light from fordraptorlights.com. Ps: Jeff there is awesome. Was there to help with any install questions as they came up.
that looks really good!! i think im doing that.. can you give a quick run thru on install and light output and which lights you chose ? thanks
I just ordered this minus the 3" cubes. I already have the Radiance Amber lights from Rigid not installed yet.
Was considering BD Squadron Pros + S2 Sports - how do you like them? Did anyone compare those to BD Squadron Sports? I know Pros >> Sports, but trying to see (real world) what is the difference...
Here's the BD Squadron Racer Edition LED Spot, Squadron-R Pro, LED Wide Cornering and the KC Flex. If you call Raptor lights he'll put together any combination you want
A few more pics of how they came out. I wanted a good long range beam, a good mid range wide bean and then the flex for short range. I haven't had a lot of night driving but so far i'm happy with the setup i chose.
Anyone up to making an install pictorial? These look fantastic! I would like to "steal" from your learnings on the best way to route the wires, etc.
