Before I head into the dealership tomorrow and look like na even bigger ass then I am going to by posting this question:

the rear 60/40 seats - I I can pull the little strip of cord on the side of the backrest and flip the seat down. Am I supposed to be able to do this on the 60 side (driver)?? I cant seem to get it to flip down.

Ok - I found the strap to drop the back of the rear seat on the passenger's side. I could not find one on the driver's side, so I guess I need to make one. What is the purpose of the strap on the driver's side behind the rear headrest? I pulled, lifted and twisted the hell out of it and nothing moved. Can this side be dropped like the passenger side on a SCAB? Any body have a clue?

There is a strap on the drivers side of a SCAB, its way down behind the headrest and everyone I've seen has fallen off from the factory. I used a long closed end wrench to grab the pin and release it. The strap was behind the seat, snapped it on and no problems since.

I've been wondering the same dang thing. I also have done like you - I am surprised they are still attached since I about pulled my arm out of the socket pulling on them.

Still havent been able to flip it down yet.
