Any more reviews on the sound? I have always had aftermarket stereo systems in my cars/trucks. I will probably want one in my raptor (may 15 cannot come soon enough). Just looking for experiences.

    Hey,

    Follow link: http://www.fordraptor2.com/threads/radio-revisted.393/
I've posted info on the upgrade i did.

Factory system is poor at best. I do drive a lot and expect my audio system to pump out loud, clear and full range audio. After the upgrade i'm more then happy with what i have and the two Subs provide plenty of arrhythmia's when turned up but yet no distortion like what you hear out of the ghetto cruisers.

Also, i turned off the fake engine noise last night and what a world of difference that makes. It's no so much the fake sound as it is how much "White Noise" gets pumped into the cab.

With that now turned off the clarity is even better and radio off or on low the truck is luxury car quiet.

Is there a way in the menus that this can be turned off or does it have to be dealer programmed menu?
