Most aftermarket cold air intake have had to modify their kits for the location of the 2017 raptor sensor. S and B reps just confirmed their kit is complete. Mine shipped today for 299 dollars, good price point compared to competitors. Will post review when installed next week

You have a part number for the 2017 raptor CAI?

Do you have to have a special aftermarket tune to run this intake? Thanks

S and b told me you need to disconnect battery for 15 mins prior to install and leave it disconnected for minimum two hours after install before connecting again. They told me it's been tested on multiple gen 2s. No engine lights

Thanks Brapptor, please comment on the intake after you install it, I think many on this forum would have interest in this product as $300 is a lot more reasonable than the $500 kits out there thus far. I would have interest more specifically to see if there was any noticeable difference at all in performance. Let us know after install and good luck!

Hey guys, so install complete..some basic notes: I laughed at myself quite a bit

I'm an er doctor and routinely take knives to humans and I found approaching my new baby way more intimidating when it came down to disconnecting the most basic shit.. some of the connectors were an Fing bitch to remove and the don't force it rule came up in my brain way too much...but it was a pretty easy install to sum it up.

S and b provides excellent instructions, it took me about two hours because i was being overly cautious with the little plastic shit that can break like seating the sensor.. and double checking everything.

Most importantly when done: No Engine warnings.

I just ripped it down the road in sport mode and really honestly didn't hear too much of a difference. The turbos sound the same. that throaty sound didn't seem to show up like I expected, maybe at higher rpms when I punched it but certainly not a big change, I may take the plastic cover off the air intake box and see how that sounds.

I'll see if the mpg changes and make any further comments about things I notice later.

THX so much for the report Brapptor. Congrats on the self-install.
I ordered the Airraid version and will report back as soon as I get it installed.
    Cheers-

Awesome, jnichols, enjoy. Did any of you guys take the little tornado plastic turbulence dudes out of the turbo intakes? What's the point of them functionally?

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe they are there to reduce intake noise.
