That's the forum I originally joined when I bought my first Raptor and I sure as hell don't miss it. I found FRF by accident one day and never logged back into that other shithole lol. Everyone over there is boring as shit with absolutely no sense of humor. Plus if you sneeze wrong over there they ban you lol.

have a lot of heart and time in at FRF yes there has always been off topic chatter but it worked for the most part. Can you honestly say you have ever seen a more helpful forum. not only raptor info but military police and fire support and the charity. ^not quite dan had a raptor was good then all of a sudden went off and started arguing with that ranger owner. dan also don't like my e-30 and seem's to have a problem with me becose I don't spell that well. I'm here becose I like the raptor. I'm not in it to make a buck off the truck or worry my gen1 wont be worth anything I hope to someday own a Gen 2 even if it's the last year of production. Alright, so I'm compelled to respond to you. My hope in doing so is that we can clear the air going forward. I hadn't noticed these charities you speak of on FRF, but all of them sound like worthy and noble causes. Those who have attained a level of success in life should give back in some way. Good on FRF that the site engages Raptor enthusiasts to give back, and for those who do so. The aforementioned is a separate issue, and ironically bipolar with respect to the treatment of how opposing views and/or Gen II prospective owners are treated on FRF. Your experience has definitely been different than mine over there. For those who engage in charity in helping others etc, the site is known by many who choose to post at other boards to be divisive, snide, biased and filled with vitriol. If I can be totally honest (and this is not a trolling comment) The Gen II section of FRF is moderated in a way that fosters that bias in allowing the gang mentality to flourish. It has already spilled over here with @Raptizzle 's response to me (that was consequently deleted along with the rest of your thread) and well as @BIRDMAN 's response when I basically posted an olive branch to you in the other thread trying to smooth things over. And also at the ecoboost board where many Gen I guys trolled the hell out of that site and got banned lol. The dilemma is that FRF is also the best site for those seeking knowledge and support for the product, and all of the other sites pretty much suck. Unfortunately imo the Gen II section of the FRF site could have been managed in a way that prevented this division where creating FR2 wouldn't have been necessary. If the division continues here, then there was no point in creating FR2. They did a great job with FR2, it deserves a chance and it would be a shame for it to end up as a trollfest like the Gen II section at FRF. More trolling comments have been directed at me then I care to mention here. For me, it's all water under the bridge but can only be that way if the rest of the Gen I/Gen II guys who have been offended just let all of it go. It's so stupid, some of the things posted by both sides. I admit being culpable in taking the bait and responding in a divisive fashion. Really though it was @Jimbo 's fault as he kept pouring fuel on my fire lol. Going forward I pledge not to respond that way either here, or at the other site. But I need the OG's help. Hopefully many of you agree with this? We all post here for many different reasons, but the main one is that we like, have, or want these trucks. The Gen I is an awesome truck as are many of its owners. So much so that FRF is as large a site as it is. Thankfully I can look forward to ordering a Gen II and contribute to this FR2 board. Unfortunately @Rated R you shit on the very truck you wanted info on over at the OG site. The reaction and treatment from many was to be expected & deserved- I'm surprised you were around as long as you were. While things might change around here, I don't see it happening, at least not anytime soon. I've already seen a few posts and threads (not just yours @Rated R) that have me thinking "same shit different day". we'll see how things pan out. @Jimbo carries around a flamethrower so no need for additional gas.
That type of banter will be nipped in the bud pretty quick here, as it was with that other post. Both sites will try to manage the heated talk about Gen 1 and Gen 2. This site wasn't just created because of the shit storm that was happening on FRF, it was mostly started as I(we) felt that alot of different gen owners like to have their own place to talk about their trucks/cars. I own a few Gen specific mustang forums and nearly all the members love that they are separated from the rest of the other Gens. We will see how this site goes. I feel it will go really well if we can keep the banter down and just talk about the Gen 2 Raptor...
I think everything is being rehashed here just to get content up and get a small conversation going for actual new members and not just migrants from FRF. It pretty much is same shit different day over here just like it was around the Gen 2 section on FRF. Its really no ones fault, everyone is bored because Ford has been so tight lipped so every topic gets beaten to death no matter what it is. Speculation is rampant and facts are slim, thats a recipe for arguments.

Do me a favor, start posting up any news you have seen in the past about the Gen 2s that haven't made it on this forum yet. That will help with this forum getting started.
The sites going to do just fine...like @ZaneMasterX said, when you have very little to work with, things get repeated or topics are just boring. Limiting the banter too much though makes would make things dull...some of it here and there is fine, most don't mind it, but if they do, the internet is probably the last place they should be.
