tailgate assist replaces the factory installed tailgate latch on passenger side. Painted the new one lightning blue to match. got matching paint from touch up direct. they were awesome and it matches perfectly. Just need to provide them with the paint code (on label where driver door is) and you can get both spray can, pen or can versions.

also, here you can see the rubber map I put down. Bed was already sprayed, but this adds some friction so things don't slide around as much.

 

even got a few vinyl stickers from rappy graphics to add a bit of flair.

 

here is a pick of the front. Again "FORD" vinyl stickers from Rappy and (though hard to see) a smaller 6 inch antenna (note, I have not tried to compare how worst off I am reception wise when listening to AM/FM). really just for looks as I have Xm on all the time.

 

I don't have a picture of it, but if anyone is thinking about storage fro under rear seat, I HIGLY recommend Husky's under seat storage bin https://www.amazon.com/Husky-Liners...&sr=8-1&keywords=ford+f150+under+seat+storage. it fits great and you can really put a bunch of stuff int here without worrying about it sliding out from under rear seat.

 

Ok that is about it for now. Still want to get mudflaps and possible real wheel liners. Husky should have something in may. Also need fog lamps. cant wait for these to be ready from fordraptorlights.com. hopefully in the next 30 days or so.

also still need to put a coat of CQUARTS on and I think we will call it done for now. who knows. Have some ideas fro some more vinyl.

I like the bed rug. I was debating over that one. But worried about staining over time. You have any issues with it?

 

nope none so far but I haven't carried a leaky engine from the junk yard in it either..
