Well I came to a gentlemen's agreement with one of my local dealer's scheduled builds back a few months ago and it was built near end of February and put on the train to Texas with mid March delivery. The delivery date crept back a day or two at a time and it finally arrived by rail yesterday. The dealer is telling me two weeks delay in unloading the train cars which is on Union Pacific. Two weeks and it is sitting 10 miles away! I am hoping nothing changes with respect to their inventory and that effecting my pricing agreement. Damn it, I was planning on some driving fun this weekend. Will post pics whenever I take possession.
They won't write a purchase sale agreement until the truck is at the dealer. I keep pressing but they have no interest and I am not having any success making them do it!
thats exactly what I am afraid of. I call and they reassure me previous agreement will be honored. They are getting tired of telling me that I am sure. Looks like the will get it early this week and I get to pick it up monday-wednesday. Ford Performance on friday 3/17 told me 15-17th of March, so either the day before yesterday, yesterday, or today as of friday and it didn't arrive saturday either. I hope the ground transportation company is busy today!!
Made it home, sales guy honored previous agreement but confused exact amount, which worked $1k extra off in my favor. Mine has pretty much every option except the orange seat accent. Beadlocks and carbon fiber couldn't get added in my other order option so that was the icing on the cake!
Thanks all, my neighbors were getting whip lashed during the 2 hours I parked out front instead of in my garage. I don't think there are many garages smaller than 9X7 you can fit this thing into! She's big and bouncy but that isn't a bad thing. I drove 40 miles home the long way and another 40 later. Sweet ride this raptor is!
