listen sales guy. your new here with your 10 post. Ive contributed plenty before you showed up and I dam sure don't need to justify where I post on any thread. Lets be transparent with profit ok. its ok to make a profit but gouging the consumer over a supply and demand product isn't good business..

I completely agree, but why when everyone else is asking 10k and someone asks 1k do you jump down a throat? I have no problem admitting to making profit on a deal, it's my job! I appreciate you contributing to the site, but don't appreciate you talking shit about my post when I am not trying to screw anyone. I'm sure you are the greatest car buyer in the world and paid invoice for your Raptor, but most people on here aren't that lucky. I honestly think my post was more than fair and did not deserve any internet tough guy trying to act like it was not. So appreciate you commenting and keeping my post near the top, but enjoy your Raptor and stop bitching about someone trying to help people get one of their own.

    John,

Last time I checked, selling an item to make a profit was part of capitalism. Being we are a country founded upon the notion of a free market, and I commend you on your search for a buyer.

I see no lack of transparency. I don't see anything dishonest. You have a truck ordered. You are offering it 1k above MSRP. This is fairly clear and transparent. Yes, the dealership is going to make money if you sell it. Yes, Ford is going to make money. Yes, you're going to get a commission. Yes, this is what is supposed to happen!

Don't get wrapped up in a war of words with other members on here who might disagree with this process.

I wanted the truck so badly I would have paid 20k over. Why? Because I wanted it and I have the money to buy it. It's simple economics.

Granted, I found it is not exactly as amazing as I had hoped in some areas but that is neither here nor there. I was crucified on here by some members for giving that opinion too.

Best wishes and please continue to post. If you come across great accessories and other items please let me know.

Fantastic reply from a keyboard warrior. Are you upset because you paid more?

I am not sure why people are so upset. The car business hasn't changed and we all know every salesman is trying to make the most he/she can make off of customers. It's up to the customer to do his/her homework and get in the best position to get the best deal. I learned very early that to get the best possible deal on a new car, I had to establish and build a relationship with the fleet manager at my local dealership to do this. Over the course of the last 10 years, it's to the point now where he flat out shows me all the costs and we go from there. No hassle, no bullshit. It's the same process with my mechanic. I use the dealership to service my vehicles and have a close relationship with the fleet service manager. The only guy I trust and again, no bullshit and he gives me everything at cost.

    Dude...
Seriously... what made you so righteous? You're the champion of the people? You're fighting the corporate machine? You are posting on a pickup truck enthusiast site. No one needs your condescending tone.

The guy is trying to his job and earn a buck. It may not be as glorious as your job, but leave him alone. I'm sure you are a big time construction worker, or maybe even a project manager? Do you work on a road crew? Maybe you're more professional? You go to the public works office every morning? Or do you work for city sanitation?

Does it matter? Does anyone care? I know I don't, and I think we've all heard enough of your whining.

    Why don't you go away?

All of this coming from a Guy that shouldn't even be on here. The Jeep lover that only bitches about his new Raptor, I guess he has. Talk about whiners, you have been the biggest on this forum. If anyone should go away......

But then again, I am not mentally stable. Maybe it's my PTSD! Maybe I just can't put up with stupidity.

If you don't like what I have to say don't read it.

You're a big tough man so I should be afraid of your manly aggressive posts. I'm not and I don't discriminate on a vehicle based on its brand color or size. I buy what I like, when I like it. That's the beautiful thing about America. Heck... if dodge releases a Ram Rebel with a Hellcat... I'll park the raptor and buy one of those too.

The one thing you have going is that you have listed that you're military. Whether active or retired I have respect for your service and sacrifice and it's our great military that allows me the freedom to state my opinion and also to tell you to stop acting like a jerk. I do appreciate your service just the same.

Lol. Does your sales manager or GM know you are on a raptor forum shaming the name of their dealership with your childish name calling post? You do represent your dealership right?

Tough guy, aggressive posts? I'd say my posts are just telling it as it is. Don't think you're special because you buy what you like. I'd say most buying a Raptor are in that boat, I know I am.

It's the Rebel TRX dude. Possibly going into production. Go get it and find their board. http://www.ramtrucks.com/limited

Thanks for complimenting me and my service. But don't worry, I have more than that going for me.

I also told myself I wouldn't read and comment on your posts, but when I saw your last one that sounded more like advice you should take I couldn't help myself. You do see people on here like my posts when I try educating you. Yours getting ignored.

The ignore feature is great. You should ignore me. This way you won't see what I post and therefore will stay out of my business.

If you notice, I don't chime in on anything you post, good or bad. If it's not my business, it's not my business. You're the only one poking your nose where it doesn't belong

Seriously dude... it's a Truck forum on the internet. Instead of getting all worked up over a few posts... just hit the ignore button. It'll save everyone the aggravation and then I won't have to respond to you. It'll also give you more time to reflect on important things in life.

    Be well.
