Which are you hoping for? FORD on the tailgate or the more subtle look?

From what I have been reading it might be "optional"

Subtle is for me I like to de badge everything I own. This practice goes back to the 80s for me.

I will be de badging mine also, well as long as it does not leave holes or evidence of a badge.

The current Raptor logo was adhesive, but the F150 had holes.

I like the FORD on the tailgate with they would have made it more subtle up front.

That tailgate panel will be optioned with something you've got to have. You don't want it, but they'll make you pay for it as they'll package it with something like Torsen, no doubt about it.

I'm torn so either way I'm good with it but I agree that they with package it so most will have to get it.

I would honestly think twice about buying the truck if it came with that gaudy ass piece of giant plastic on the tailgate.

That black plastic will fade to grey and there won't be enough slick black spray to get it to look good again after a while.

I hope it's not an option that will require me to get it with something I want like windows or radio knobs.
