so every ford truck has a BCM. There is no doubt that they are able to retrieve one to replace your broken one. Only question is how long it will take? pretty sure there is more than one tho

Thank you bros for the support. The BCM is on order from Pennsylvania. They ordered it on a Emergency Status. They said it might be here tomorrow or worst case Friday. The one they ordered last night was on back order.

She will go home soon. Hopefully for this weekend's use. Thank you and I'll post pics when she is feeling better. Hopefully BCM is the issue.

 

Best of luck INTEL. It will be worth it in the end.

Hey Intel, sorry for the delay response. I have been MIA. That's just some crazy shit brother, sorry you had that happen. Hopefully everything works out for the best with min delays.

 

Well. I am far beyond mad and frustrated. There is really no need for useless words but I figured I can help someone, maybe.

This fellow Rangers is the harness that leads to the Body Control Module. Before you start your beast up tonight or tomorrow check under. My truck's harness was not properly installed/secured which end up on the exhaust system. It burnt it which led to the module being a retard. So now they think the actual problem was the harness of wires.

Like I said...I'm not saying anything crazy but please boys check your stuff. We all have those days/weeks. I'll take one for the team this week.

Wish me luck. I'm not waiting another 3 1/2 years for another one so I'll wait till it's fixed.

Wow, I can't imagine. I have 1100 miles on mine and tomorrow I leave for the the Big Horns for a snowmobile trip. Another 800 miles so I hope to not have any issues.

 

Keep them out of the garages for now, just saying.

Computer. Basically the one I'm mentioning is the main control that powers the panel lights, dash boards, anything inside the truck electronically. So when they replace mine, the whole system has to be programmed again. FML

 

You should be fine. I have 16 miles on mine. And it's cooked!
