Picked mine up tonight and after I drove it for 6 miles with 16 miles on the odometer and 6 miles away from the dealership, it died!!! Came to a major intersection and all the panel lights start going off. It just won't start. It died like auto-start concept when I stepped on the peddle. Nothing! 15 minutes later no screen was on. Music was playing but nothing else.

Tried both keys nothing. Keep in mind I am in a major intersection with traffics for miles. Three police cars showed up, hundreds of people honking and screaming, every stupid dodge trucks passing by are being assholes. Brand new Raptor stuck on the middle lane of the roads.

Dealership in the Springs don't know jack shit at 1900 at night to help. Ford Services were closed. Yes tow truck. Everyone has a truck in their drive way that runs. Mine is dead. 3 1/2 years of saving and waiting-shit show.

Someone is getting their shit pushed in tomorrow on why I am in this dilemma. Shouldn't the courtesy delivery folks make sure the truck is straight prior to delivery? Am the only one with this issue.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please help as I am about to go ape shit on someone... Tried both keys and nothing. Shut truck off multiple times. Nothing.

Needing major help on many suggestion!

    Sincerely,

    Chris

Wow!! That sucks on so many levels. I have not heard of any issues like you had on any of the forums. Sounds like a major electrical issue to me. If that's the case, it might have gone into an emergency shutdown to protect the systems. You should have 24 hour roadside assistance as part of your warranty. They gave me a card with the number for it to be placed in the glove compartment.

Please let us know what the dealer says. I will be interested to hear.

After all your troubles with the train and now this - man I pray you don"t go ballistic on someone. Maybe to look at anything positive about this is it didn't happen when you were off road. Can you imagine the problems needing a tow out of only God knows where. I'm wishing only good thoughts for you man - hang in there!!!!

INTEL, I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know how I would respond other than definite anger and 4 letter words.

The only time I had anything funny with this Raptor was about a week in. Driving down the road the nav screen went blank and a couple seconds later said it was updating then powered on. I haven't been studied about that because my last 3 Ford's have done it a few times.

Please keep us in the loop in case someone else runs into this problem.

Thank you gents for the comforting words. I'll definitely let you boys know how she is in a few. I was up all night till now googling info. The truck now won't allow me in it. I locked it last night and as of this morning 0400, the keys won't unlock it. Not looking for the home team.

    Thank you.

I had same issues with earlier model F150. Just shutting down on turns, or stops after warm up. No alerts, no lights, no nothing. I sold it immediately to dealer after Ford Service said nothing was wrong with it.

I actually ran into the same situation you are describing Intel believe it or not! I was on the way out to the drilling rig in my 2013 eco FX4 and let's just say the lease roads aren't very forgiving in west Texas. Same thing lights blinking in the dash and no warning, didn't go into "limp" mode, it just died!!! Long story short it was towed all the way to the ford dealership in Midland, TX and they called me and said the main wire going to the fuse box had loosened off and was causing the issue.

Wow that sucks, Intel. Yes, Ford 24 hour assistance should have been there to help. Good luck with it, and please keep us updated.
