October Build is Shipping?

To my understanding the truck has been built with the bead locks already on it (10/19). It was one of the retrofit transmission trucks. It was released to ship 12/21. When the truck was built there was no bead lock shortage, just the CF shortage. Unless......... they took my bead locks and put them on another truck to ship it while mine sits awaiting a new shipment of BL wheels. Too much speculation.

 

Yes and I strongly doubt Ford would ever publicly announce a shortage of an option and projected times when they would be available due to it making them less money. I'm sure a majority of people with carbon fiber or beadlocks would remove the options if Ford said orders would be built faster if these options were removed.

 

I picked up my truck on Thursday the 12th......I have mixed feelings, for one it sits lower than the 2014 I traded in and of course I need to get use to the quietness of the exhaust note.

 

Alex congrats on the new truck. enjoy! I am pretty sure it will be worth it in the long run.

I sold my F350 that had 6" lift with 35x12.5x20" for the new Rappy that was supposed to be delivered 11/11. now I have nothing as Ford won't take my new Rappy out of purgatory. Because of their mishandling and lack of we give a F**K, I have been with out a truck, and second family vehicle for about 03 months now.

 

Did you have your 14 lifted? From what I saw they 1st and 2nd Gen sat pretty much the same.

As fur the exhaust, I have grown to like it. But I haven't had a V8 in 4 years.

 

The Gen2 should sit a little taller that stock Gen1. The Gen2 has more wheel travel then the Gen1 had stock. If your 2014 was lifted then there's no comparison.

 

After having a original gen 1 since 2010 my gen 2 seem the same in regards to height. But the first thing I did when I finally got a chance to see mine was start it up. Yup it's a 3.5 alright . Haven't got a chance to drive it yet because it's going straight to the fab shop for addition of goodies I've been collecting since ordering in friggin JULY...truck looks badass tho

I'll check FP today and see status. I even called Denver Phil Long and they haven't got anything yet. It's MLK day so I'm not sure whose working...that fucking train...lol

 

so considering your truck was ordered thru MAS and your truck is a courtesy delivery local dealerships cant help you much. not in the springs or Denver. how long has your truck been sitting in Kansas on this ghost train?

 

Since Jan 05! It's weird because no one has real time answers since it's stuck between the factory and the receiving dealer. I tried finding a way to call Rolla Railyard but no bueno. I'll see what the new week has in storage.
