October Build is Shipping?

Well....it's been a long time coming, but my dealership notified me this morning that my truck has finally shipped. Expected to arrive in Virginia in about 2 weeks, right around the time I get back in town from a Christmas vacation.

amen. So Don how long after your truck status showed "released" did it take to actually ship out? mine was released as of 12-12

 

Looks like two days.
As I think about it, now I'm wondering if my dealer is just seeing the "released" status and assuming it's left the plant. Like many of our dealers, they haven't been the best with accurate information. I'm going to contact Ford Service/Performance and see if they can verify it's actually on the way. At this point, I'll feel better about a second confirmation.
I just hope my dealer hasn't started my day with "false hope." More to follow.

Well, just got off the phone with Isaac at FP. "Released" on 12/14, and he's not seeing any shipping information yet....this is what I get for trusting information from a car salesman.....%#*^#!%#^!

It's all good...I'd bet that our trucks are loaded around the same time. They are one day off on build dates and two days off on "released" dates. If I hear anything more, I'll let you know, Dog.

 

Thanks, I'll do the same. Im not counting on the dealership to give me reliable info at all. Hell my wife works there and she cant get updated info. I give them more current accurate info than they give in return. So we are on our own IMO

SITREP on my truck...I've been in touch with a woman from Ford Customer Service who's name is Linda. She states that she the senior customer service manager and GET THIS, she's been calling me weekly to give me updates on my order. Linda took my case back in November and assigned a case number to my order for tracking purposes. My truck build has not been started yet and it's because I ordered the carbon fiber package. Linda stated that "ALL" of the trucks that have been ordered with the carbon fiber package will be built at the same time. I hope that this helps some and confirms what others have said about carbon fiber packages causing delays. If anyone has heard differently, please pass the info down the line. Thanks! I ordered the Carbon Fiber with bead lock rims, they said the bead lock rims are on back order and if I would switch to the stock rims it would be built next week. It sounds like next week is Carbon fiber trucks. Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Got a update yesterday from my dealer. I now have a ETA of 1/10 to 1/16. fingers crossed and maybe there is hope for all of us early build guys after all..
