Good news bad news UPDATES

A 2017 Raptor was delivered to my local Ford dealer today. I saw it with my own eyes. It is pre-sold.

 

Ok, I saw one

I also saw one, was already sold, waiting for customer. Asked the sales lady if the owner have to wait, she said nope... Don't want to argue, merely stating what was said.

 

For sure I have friends that have taken delivery of 2017, several now.

 

Seems like all the ones at dealers were December builds! Ain't that some shit!!

 

One sold at my dealer was 11/15 build.

 

I would say based on everything i've read from DD, i think he's giving us the best info that he can get. Doesn't mean he got correct intel or that things don't change. But it's what he believed to be correct at the moment.

Double D apparently went silent on us! Anybody seen Double D? May have to send intell out on a recon mission to find him!

Holy Shit! DD is MIA????? Men we leave no fallen man or Raptor on the floor at the Dearborn plant.

It wasn't over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor and it's not over now!

 

Honestly brothers,

I have no clue who to believe anymore. My dealer along with Ford Services keep telling me for over months now that my build date is today, (15Dec2016). As of today when I called to get an update, I got a Chuck Norris round house to the face.

Makenzie told me that my build is no longer a build but a BUILT and waiting a TBD delivery date. It is great news, but who is the index finger pointing to beside Ford...keep pointing it to Ford. This DD fella sounds convincing but it doesn't really help most of us who are outside the perimeters of ordering through America or some dealer down the street.

Either way, brothers...we are more fortunate than some. We have an order in and we have a truck that most wish they have. Let us be humble and wait our time in the line. When my beast gets here, let it be and let it be soon. Later is fine because the world cant be shaped to my version.

I noticed that @Dearborn Dan went back and deleted with a period practically every post he made. I have to imagine he got into a shit load of trouble and was asked to remove whatever he posted publicly since he technically was not authorized to do so, especially with some false information. Either he is in hot water at Ford or worse, fired.

Don't think you will see him posting here any more but that's just a guess.

Give the guy a break. Seems to me he was an honest Dearborn worker who tried to do help those here with what he felt was accurate information regarding the Raptor release. I, for one, believe all he posted here was what he felt was accurate and timely.

I'm hoping he didn't get into trouble for posting what he did. But I believe the information was the most accurate he had. Now, some of us come out and crucify the guy for misinformation.

Personally, I think the whole situation is so fluid, that the reason no information was released from Ford is that there is no way they can predict whet will happen day to day. So, God forbid they release info they thought was correct and something changed that made it incorrect. Then the conspiracy theorists come out of the woodwork with accusations of deceit and fraud.

I say, either cancel your order or just sit tight and wait it out. It's just a damn truck.

 

first of all ricky Im not busting Dearborn dans balls and if you would read I was one of his biggest supporters so You give the guy a break. And yes we all the information black hole is a complete cluster! So what new news do you have to offer?
