First Deliveries and Delays

Ford Service told me today there were no updates and to try again next week. My dealer said the same thing to me today.
At this point, I have no illusions of getting my truck (built October 27th) in the month of December.

 

Sticker says November 18th, ETIS says November 20th. But seriously not holding my breath...

This whole delay is really starting to smell fishy. There is absolutely zero legitimate information coming from any actual or verifiable source - Ford, Dealers, FB, 1-800, media, etc.

Add to it, has anyone else scanned Mike Levine's (North America Product Communications Manager at Ford Motor Company) tweets (@mrlevine) lately? Even he seems to be leading people to believe that trucks are shipping, but there's no proof of any actually shipping or showing up anywhere.

This just is not being handled well at all, and I have lost patience with this entire process. Even all the guys I deal with at my dealership, from the GM on down, are starting to get as pissed as I am for these trucks (2017 Raptors and non-Raptors) being in some kind of information black-hole.

 

Just got email from my Ford Dealer in CO, i have a build date of 12/23/16.

Now i will wait some more!!!!!

A shame though, another missed opportunity for Ford to communicate, correctly stand behind their product and get a marketing win instead of staying quiet and take a black eye in the marketplace with the consumers by keeping them in the dark.

We all have run out of patience waiting for our trucks mostly because the lack of communications. If someone would tell me where in the process my truck is at, and btw we've found a production default and we're going to delay the release because we want to produce the best product and stand behind Ford Tough. It's really not that difficult to do the right thing and come out on top.

I'm just bitchy this morning, my ankles must be swollen.....

 

It's actually 15,000 3.5s with 10 speed trans. Only about 2,400 are Raptors.

 

I'm still not sure I believe this. But who knows.

My dealer said about the same to me Saturday , that his 1st two raptors (I am #2) are shipping out

But the ambiguous info continues . He said the told him we could have it next week or end of month .

He is calling ford Monday to get the scoop.
