My Raptor shows it was built on 11-15-16. Shipment shows TBD. FORD media, stated that Raptors are MORE than a month from shipping, that was posted 11-4-16 .
My dealer informed me today that my truck has been released to the shipping company for delivery. I don't have any proof other than his word right now, but I have no reason to believe it isn't true. Could see the truck as soon as this week.
Lets see pics from you late build date boys trucks when they arrive before those of us who have had trucks built since mid October.
My theory of why they haven't released them is there is some kind of tweak needed on the first built trucks and they are correcting that so that later builds don't ship first and start world war III
11/15 was my build date as well. The dealers system is showing an ETA of 12/3. Not sure how that's possible since it's this Saturday and I don't see a ship date yet. That better be one fast train....
Ford updated some dealers today shipping is expected to start on 12/21. I saw the messages from different sources as well. Guess I was wrong w/shipping after races. I think it is correct they want earlier builds to finish the fixes so the ship out before/at same time as more recent builds. This was in the rumor mill last week that an update was coming to delay shipping, guess that one is right. Some have gone out but most likely to media based on a couple of photos.
I sure hope that's wrong. That's so far away and you know that little will be done near the holiday so next year is the new shipping estimate.
My build date was 10/17, have VIN. I called Ford Performance yesterday, and I am still TBD. I did not order graphics package or bed liner, so that clearly is not the delay. They have not seen a single truck ship yet. My truck is still in Dearborn. No estimate on ship date.
