Just got off the phone with Ford Performance who confirmed my truck is still at the shipping yard. No estimated shipping date. Also stated that NO Raptors have shipped to date. So, all this talk about them being at Michigan dealerships is BS. Pretty sure what those folks are seeing is only allocations that haven't arrived yet.

 

OSC_Don that was not the news I was looking for on this beautiful Monday! I really don't understand whats going on? I know that they are sitting on probably Millions of dollars of inventory and I would assume they would want to sell them as much as we want to buy them. I'm kinda concerned if there is some kind of serious problems? keep us posted if anyone else hears of anything.

The Life and Times of a Raptor Order

5/16/16 - Contacted Dealer (friend) and got on List holding spot for PreOrder #1
7/18/16 - Put down deposit at Dealership and spelled out detailed order with Dealer
7/22/16 - Dealer placed order in Ford System
7/23/16 - Order accepted by Ford, provided Order Number
9/2/16 - Received VIN and original Build Date (10/17/16) from Ford
10/23/16 - Raptor was actually built and moved out to ramp
11/21/16 (Today) - Nada!!! No delivery ETA, no news, no nothing...


Come on Ford, just send us our damn Raptors!!

 

Yep ! My story is identical .. with the exception of they said mine would be delivered by 10/31 and I sold my 2015 GMC. So rented a vehicle for a few weeks and now I'm in a rental from the dealership that they are paying for. Something needs to happen. I just wish I knew what's going on with them?

 

Just got this from my dealer....

"Found out what is going on, so your Truck was made but is now at a graphics shop where they add the fender flares, graphics etc. yours and 2 others that are ordered through us are there. They will be shipped to us once finished."

 

Did yours 'disappeared' from the dealer inventory online? Thats what happened to mine, Ford service on Facebook said it was send offsite for additional up fittings??

 

Excuses excuses. The list continues to grow!

 

With the slow process, I just might put this truck on my will. Dig me up when it gets here, put me behind the wheel and bury me again with it. And all of you can stand around and pour in some good whiskey.

 

Correct, if your referring to anything said buy me I was always referring to inventory on paper, unsold trucks due to come in.

 

That this from another forum a few minutes ago. It was an email releasing the listed trucks to be shipped. The email was from someone at the ford plant. We shall see !?
