The D area inventory in just a couple days dropped from 23 to 18 so if your on the fence get on the bus (or plane) and nab one, or pick up the phone and call at least. Maybe get in on a Wings game at the Joe or a Pistons game at the Palace, maybe Lions at Ford Field. Or better yet hit River Rouge Ford truck tour, or go to the Henry Ford. If you where right half the guys waiting for their trucks would have picked them up already. How did you find out about specific inventory levels? Why do you assume you can just go to the plant and grab a truck at your leasure. It doesnt work like that you have to buy a truck from a dealer you cant stroll into Ford and say I'll take that one. Maybe im wrong wont be the first time.
These are dealer ordered trucks due to be delivered to the dealers soon, depending on when they were ordered, I believe one per dealer for now. They show up in the inventory search at the Ford build and price site, you must enter a zip code, yours or a Detroit area code such as 48371 or 48150 they give you up to a 100 mile search area, the numbers will go down as deposits are taken. Hope this clarifies what I was trying to say. Again you must do the dealer inventory search, they do not need to be received at the dealer to be in their inventory.
