whats up boys found something interesting on you tube regarding the hard folding tonneau cover. If its the same one they used on the 2016 models its a piece of garbage. Hopefully they changed it for 2017 check out this video the thing leaks like screened submarine according do this guy in the vid. Im thinking about scrapping it totally and getting a waterproof cover not weather resistant.. pay a grand for some shitty leaky cover ehhhh.. its not even flush its ugly as shit way better ones out there. Whats the verdict fellas ?

Anyone going with a retractable cover? Had one on my F350, loved it. Thinking about getting a Roll N Lock.

Just got back from hunting trip in Canada and guy with gen 1 raptor had Roll N Lock and it was sweet. He loved it and had no problemswith it. Very small amount of space taken up by it and locks with tailgate. Said not affected by weather at all. I found local dealer to install but this guy said easy enough to install yourself. More expensive the tonneau cover but like fact more secure and weather tight.

I have Bak Flip and love it. Had it on for 3 years. Look them up before you get off cover. Folds in 1/3s and gives you access to the entire bed. Even high pressure washers don't penetrate the bed.

I will check it out. I did do my own install on the Roll N Lock years ago. it was pretty straight forward and had no problems with it for many years. If I get one again I'm going with the cargo Mgt. system.

Thanks. I will definitely check out Bak Flip. Like idea that whole bed is available. That the one downside of retractable covers.

I've had an F1 since 100 miles on the truck and besides the silly little D-rings rusting, it's been great. I had a roll n lok on my dd which was awesome till a 30" snowstorm destroyed it

Ya my G2 has been great except for the hail dings on it but it still works great. If you want to spend the extra money maybe go with the HD. But I don't like the concept of the bak flip sections

I just checked out the BakFlip web site. Very nice covers. I was intrigued with their new Revolver X-2. Like the concept with full bed access and does not obstruct rear window when rolled back completely. Not sure about security or weather tightness. Check it out

    appreciate any thoughts.
