I went and spoke with my dealership's manager this past week. He spoke with the regional manager (Seattle area) who said my truck was slated for build in the middle of October WITH the carbon fiber. Due to the CF supply issue, my order was held up slightly but was now pushed forward. The regional manager said that Ford now have a limited supply of the carbon fiber and my order has been slated for build. FYI, I placed my order the day the banks opened (I believe it was 07/18 or something like that). I am also #1 allocation for my dealership.
Yes and I am still waiting. The day the order was placed does not seem to have much pull on when ford picks it up.
Glad to hear that since I've haven't order yet. I was told that even if I order few months ago, my truck won't be in till early 2017 January-ish, (my dealer is different). I waited 3.5 years, I can wait few months to get the best deal. We can only hope for the best!
Not sure what type of relationship everyone has with their local dealership but in my case I have a great one. I've been on the waiting list since February and was also #1 on the allocation list. I placed my order the day the order banks opened as well and have had a vin# and build date of 10/17. I'm not going to speak to how ford "picks up" orders because I'm not familiar enough with the process. I'm expecting my truck in the November timeframe. gen 1 bye bye hello gen 2
LOL. not so true but we all continue to try..!! these forums help tons when it comes to gathering info on new trucks tho. Was a member of FRF back in 2010 prior to the first gen raptor and it was awesome when it came to info. Back then none of us really knew anything about the raptor.
Ordered my SCREW on 10 September. Received my VIN today with a 24 October build week. Looks like it might be there waiting for me when I get back from Afghanistan in November!
had a confirmed build week of 10/17 just got a confirmed build date of 10/19. Magnetic, scab with 802a package and tailgate assist
Gdog do you have a contact I can talk to about the Super Cab build dates? I keep getting the same info from Ford and the dealer that they are not going to start building supercabs until after the first of the year or whenever they get all the ordered super crews built Thanks
hey so i got my VIN # number today but no build date from dealer. i checked the website http://www.cotusb.ford.com/ but its not updated yet ? any thoughts ?
