didn't have MAS when I was in either that or I couldn't afford to order even if I wanted to. LOL... hope MAS gets their shit together for you guys tho.
I like your style of diplomacy my friend. To bad more of our leaders have forgotten how to lead from the front. Makes me wonder how our great leaders from the past (MacArthur, Patton, Bradley, Nimitz, Halsey, just to name a few) would have dealt with the incompetence of our modern day leaders (Obama, Clinton, etc.) trying to muck in their day to day affairs from the safety of Martha's Vineyard, or wherever the hell else their weekly golf game took them.
As much as I want to comment, I can't because I am still active. However, BAF has some eye candies that would look great as a dashboard mount for a Raptor. Not my Raptor since I can't order one...LOL RLTW!!!
Definitely about to run away from MAS now that folks are getting scheduled, just today they say no updates lol.. This was literally their last argument that they couldn't order until ford was able to schedule and I message ford service to verify they have started. Hopefully news has changed since the am
In other words MAS doesn't have a fu#$&ing clue!. I would like to see them show us that they are making an effort, maybe show us how they are reaching out to Ford to try to get this fixed. I can only imagine the ass pain involved in trying to get my $500 deposit back when I redeploy in a few months and MAS is still saying maybe in a few weeks the Raptor will be available. I bet there will be Raptors sitting on showroom floors before MAS pulls its collective head out of it's ass.
I'm pulling mine. Went thru this with my GT350 order. Got my deposit back and went thru a small dealership. Deposit was refunded two days later, so that should give you some confidence. This is bullshi$t.
The plot thickens: RE: RAPTOR EMAIL ADDRESS ALEX WILSON Add to contacts 12:58 AM Good morning Alex, I haven’t heard anything this morning but I will find out from our NY office once they come online later today. Is there any way you can get a picture of one of these VINs so I can check it out and look into it further? I really don’t think it’s going to be a lottery for the Raptor. If there was going to be a lottery, we would have been notified by now. My advice would be to just hang in there for the moment and I will find out from the Ford product manager as soon as I can. Don’t worry, I won’t let you down on your Raptor Sir. Kind Regards,
I just sent Adam (Disney MAS) the link to the "scheduling has begun" thread on this forum and the Ford website where it says the Raptor is ready for ordering. It's so frustrating that we are doing a lot of the work for them.
I showed my guy that and got the line that maybe when they start scheduling we will know, right after I showed him vins and dates...
Gents, I received the following email today, as I'm sure you guys did as well. I pulled my order, found an allocation $500 above INVOICE and have a confirmed order in. My point being, don't be held ransom by the CHANCE to get a Raptor. There are dealers out there who want to help. Good luck! I found Adam to be less than professional, your opinion might very. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Next time don't assume it's us, we rely on Ford, if they don't provide the info, we can't provide it and unfortunately we get blamed. Enjoy your new Raptor. I've cc'd Dean. Cheers ____________________________ Adam Crinigan Military Autosource Adam, "Most of our Raptor customers are previous Raptor customers and have no issue with the delay as its worth the savings in the end. We do understand your frustration and again we apologize but if anyone feels that paying $10,000 mark up above MSRP is worth getting an earlier delivery we will accept that and we will refund them today." I feel this statement is false. It's not the delay, it's the poor communication thus far. In one day since reading the following statement, I have found a Raptor allocation for $500 above INVOICE (not MSRP) and have secured my order. Kindly refund me. And next time, don't assume what the issue is, or that customers are willing to wait because YOUR deal is so much better. In fact, I purchased a GT350 for invoice too after dealing with your company's lottery debacle. There are MANY small town dealers in America willing to work with military members to ensure that: 1) They are kept in the loop, and; 2) They get a great deal. Thanks, but no thanks. And for what it's worth, I was going to wait until I read this statement. Also, Dean has been great. He's about the only one who seems to care. v/r
Glad you were able to get a deal. If I can find something under MSRP I am pulling the trigger until then I'm going to holdout. Worst case scenario I at least have one dealer willing to do MSRP.
I'm (shaking head...) I just want an update. I am tried, hungry, and this coffee I am drinking taste like turpentine. I am as excited and anxious as all of you, but I am not going entertain this. So, I'll start a new topic while we wait; We all know that Baby Jesus was the original Army Ranger. If he had to order a Raptor, I wonder what color he would pick...? Knowing him and how he likes to stand in the middle of the crowd with 12 Marines as his personal security detachment not pulling security, I would think he would order an Avalanche Grey. It's a neutral color, doesn't offend any ethnicity, any race color, blends in with the desert, and probably the most tactical color out there. My opinion. (I am going to hell)
I'm not going to hell, but I'll probably go to sleep outside my house as soon as my wife figures out how much I'm spending for my truck
That's a great deal. Do you mind sharing your dealer's info? It's definitely time to explore other options. I doubt MAS will come close to $500 over invoice.
