New Gen-2 Ordered today

I just secured my order with the dealer today. Avalanche 802A with all the bells and whistles ($67,215)

 

You secure it stateside? Just wondered since Military Auto Sales isn't taking orders

 

nice! ordered mine too- Order # 1573 recieved by Ford. Avalanch, 802A, pretty loaded. Taxes and delivery- $68,475.30. I posted over at FRF that it is really tiresome hearing all the bullshit floating around and there is nothing written in stone about production yet. Now the wait begins....

good news, I've heard wait times are down to 6 to 8 weeks once production starts. As I recall back in 2010 when I ordered my gen 1 it was around 10 weeks

 

Yeah still waiting for my Military Auto Sales guy to take the order, have you used them before? This is my first time and I'm skeptical about if they are really going to have a competitive price.

They are going to be about 1% over invoice (pretty good for the raptor) like they are on everything, I'm in the same boat though with Military auto source saying that they aren't going to be taking orders for awhile. I was education my rep on pricing and options yesterday

I went in today and ordered mine. They are drawing up the paperwork. I go in tomorrow to make sure it's correct and put down my security deposit (1k). They are giving me $500 under MSRP. I got:

902A (luxury)
Technology Package (couldn't go without the adaptive cruise now that I've had it)
Carbon Fiber Package
Interior Accent Package
Tailgate Step
2nd Row Heated Seat
Heated Steering Wheel

As others have said, now the wait begins.

 

• 2017 F-150 Initial Order Acceptance Start Date July 18, 2016
• 2017 F-150 Production Scheduling Begins August 18, 2016
• 2017 F-150 Production Startup September 12, 2016 for Dearborn Truck Plant & October 24, 2016 for Kansas City Truck Plant

 

5- F150 production start up is 09/26/16 for Dearborn Truck Plant and 10/18/16 for Kansas City Truck Plant.
They pushed back the date on the website

 

I'm in Afghanistan and my Military Auto Sales guy is saying that they always get to order before dealerships in the States. I think he is just blowing smoke and tying to keep me on the hook. I had to print out the order and pricing guides to give him to prove that they were available for order in the States. Maybe I will get a commission for doing his job. redeploy in late November and really hope to have a new Raptor waiting for me.
