Hello Gen 2 guys and gals, I'm currently searching for the best deal on a 19 Raptor super crew loaded w/ 802A, Raptor tech pack, twin panel roof, carbon fiber package, forged wheels, bed liner, tail gate step, and 2nd row heated seats. The MSRP on such a build is $73,975 and so far the best deal I've been offered was $68,481 OTD (excluding taxes). This is about an 8.5% discount off of MSRP. Is this the best I will find? I've called many dealers in the Middle TN area, and I have even extended my calls to some of the neighboring states as well. When dealers quote me in the 68K range I have mentioned that I'll keep looking and/or wait closer to 31 Dec to purchase for a little better deal. This mostly pisses them off and countless sales managers have told me how they used to sell over sticker blah blah blah. I just let them know those days are over and leave it at that. Can anyone chime in on a dealer with better pricing or maybe I'm being unrealistic? I see so many 19s on lots and I know the 2020s are coming around the corner. A good friend of mine traded up his 17 Avalanche grey for a 19 ruby red loaded and I had the opportunity to drive it for an afternoon. It was my first time driving a truck for an extended period of time and I really loved the experience. I'm coming from an 18 M3 competition package 6spd btw (crazy change I know). Thanks ya'll
I would not buy... Ford still has not solved the cam phaser problem, and oil consumption also becoming an issue.
Same shit, different day... We all know your opinion and you don't even own a raptor. Enough is enough.
@zero_cool I would push for 10%, I was able to push for 10% and ended up around 9% a few months back since it's the end of the year, and they're still is good inventory left I would think you can get it. Also, if you are going to trade in, you could make up some of the "discount" by getting more for your trade then you originally wanted. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to help.
Here ya go, 2020 for better then most guys are offering 19' units. https://www.fordofcolumbiacity.com/...0e0ae747b57175958d4431.htm?searchDepth=10:168
Gen 2's sure havent changed much since they came out in 17 have they? Hey briguy can we get the dinner you offered in advance? You know just for looking at your sales ad? Kinda of a forum love thing
In Middle TN, buying a car/truck is an ordeal. Dealers here add insane fees on to the purchase. I’ve seen Dealer Doc fees of $200, Deal Prep Fees up to $695, and more. Make sure you negotiate all of these away. There is no need to pay them, and many of these ”dealer add on” fees are not charged elsewhere.
We've got some of our marked down over $8k OFF and many over $7k! Figure out a price you want to pay after finding a unit you want. They will initially decline normally but leave your contact info and don’t be surprised when they call back agreeing to do the deal. Make sure they don’t slip in any BS.
