Have a 2019 Raptor. Have about 23,000 miles on her and have had no problems with anything as of yet.
Really wanting to get a MPT tune with nGauge for this truck.
I have tuned all my previous diesel trucks in the past and never looked back. Was always overwhelmingly satisfied with the incredible screaming difference.
That being said and because I know how much happier I’d be with a tune..... I’m holding back because of voiding the warranty.
With all the high tech and sensors and programming and what not on vehicles these days the potential for failure is very high. Warranty is important to have for when the time comes ..... if it does.
In fact, I have extended warranty for up to 150,000.
I have looked at the MPT site many times and read the reviews and watched the videos but could never hit the order button.
The truck is already badass as stock.
Its not that i need a tune..... just want it.
    More is better.....right.
    Already did a Pedal Commander..Awesome.

Common sense tells me to wait.

MPT has a great reputation but agreed, it is a risk.

Wait until your warranty [extended] is up. More is better but this truck is already near perfect. My '17 already has 21k miles on it and the only thing I did was add a K&N air filter, hard tonneau cover, and a few graphic stickers. Once my 5 yr warranty is up I may upgrade the sound system and hook a few of my 6 aux switches for some LED lights. Or maybe by then they will have a new '22 Raptor!?!?

Using aux switches or upgrading the stereo won't void a warranty.

I tuned mine and it turned into a whole different machine. I have a 2018 and the performance tune I got has made the thing unbelievably faster. As long as you change the tune back to factory settings anytime you bring it into the shop it shouldn’t void the warranty. Just make sure every time you bring it in to CHANGE IT BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS!

Which tune did you use? Also did you do it yourself or have a shop do it for you? And lastly do you have any other mods like intake or new exhaust?
Thanks. I would like to tune my truck too.

If you tune, you have a 99% chance of having warranty denied. Ford looks at the key cycles on the ignition and if it doesn't match the mileage, they will deny. You have to pay to play, so bet on warranty being denied.

Also, why would you jeopardize the warranty in any way since the 3.5 ecoboost has a cam phaser design problem? They will all fail prematurely - we see that now! If you are out of the warranty, this is a $4k job every few years. This is because Ford has no design fix. Nothing has worked.
There is a guy working on an oil additive that came from oil field technology. This additive breaks up contaminates and coats them. This helps with the proper oil flow to the phasers. So far it has work on his local group of rattling raptors.

You have to be the dumbest person ever with knowledge of vehicles. It is a risk but 99 percent, you are a joke. Don't bother commenting because I wont see it due to me block you again. But if you tune a ride, they have to prove the tune damaged the part in question and most warranty work would be covered under the Magnus Moss warranty act. Please listen to every one's knowledge but this dumbass's above.

Anybody try the Rousch Performance Pak 2 ?

If installed by a certified dealer all warranties are covered by Rousch.

I doing the Roush next month, have a AFE scorcher now, not impressed.

The Roush isnt 100hp or anything but it's also pretty inexpensive and warranty...

Please report your results with the Roush after you have had a chance to really drive the truck with it.

Ford and Roush are hand in hand on mods. I have owned both generations of this truck. Gen 1 I had a Roush super charger installed by the dealer and wrapped into my extended warranty. Suggest contacting your Ford dealer and inquire is similar can be done on your Gen 2.

I heard people throwing around the idea Ford would release a tune for the Gen 2. Ford tends to do this on vehicles that have aged a bit or a gen behind. Still haven’t seen a tune from Ford for the Gen 1. So I would doubt there will be one coming for the Gen 2 anytime too soon. Since apparently Roush is one of there affiliated 3rd party accessory and upgrades manufacturer, it appears they handed off the duty to them and Roush markets it the Gen 2 upgrades and tie a warranty to it.

Your paying a little more for something less with the Roush. But having that warranty and still getting a nice power upgrade is hard not to look at. Especially if you have a newer truck and don’t want to chance anything! I think it’s worth looking at.
