I wish I got mine in. I wasn't expecting the $15,000 over MSRP phone call from a large volume dealer in dallas , but I suspect he was gouging the eager beavers who wanted to order asap. I am waiting for pricing to be made available in the Dallas area market and then start the shopping process. I know what I want, just not sure how much its costs..

Are there any pics out there with the standard wheels? curious how they look

    Did you get yours ordered?

This will be a limited production truck and ADM are common. As I stated in previous threads comparing the ordering of the F150 to the raptor is apples and oranges. Ford will keep info hush hush until the last minute to take advantage of the curious. I have personally witnessed the ADM continue with raptors on the lots well into 2014. I will order mine as soon as the complete order sheets are made available thru ford. So far all we have seen is ordering information sheet and its not even complete!! BTW the wheels your asking about are shown on that sheet.

So I went and ordered my 2017 Raptor today! The GM of this dealership is a close personal friend, so I do take this as truth. This was at a major dealership in Houston, TX. Some interesting information I learned thru the process:

    • They were unable to enter the order in the Ford system due to an error when putting in "4X4" - the W1E or W1R codes were not being accepted as of today. This is a similar issues as others have mentioned trying to pre-order
    • They had the same 2017 Order Guide information that Lee358 posted here yesterday morning
    • They had no pricing information. However, I assume they do now based on ZaneMasterX's Price Guide posted today
    • They did confirm that my pre-order does count against their Raptor Allocated Units for the remaining calendar year
    • They said most sizable dealers in Houston would be getting between 3 and 9 allocated before the end of the year, and small dealers will most likely get none
    • They estimated (even though I am pre-order #1 for this dealership) that actual delivery of the Raptor would be closer to the first of November than the previously thought Sept/Oct
    • They, like all others, will be putting a $15K Dealer Premium on all allocations this year
    • They confirmed that when the order gets fully entered into the system, an order number would be generated and that they would provide me a link to track my order through the production process

Other interesting info, not really related to the Raptor:
    • The Mustang GT350R will be coming out shortly as well. It's believed to have an option for actual carbon-fiber wheels!
    • The 2017 F-250 line will have a diesel engine option capable of 901 Ft-lbs of torque

yeah im not buying a lot of your info. "like all others" is one i dont believe. that is a dealer choice not something that is mandated by Ford. and as for the allocation, this has been explained many many many times, the allocation is what the dealer can order for themselves to have on the lot. there is no number set on how many that dealer can order for customers

Going this AM for deposit and signing a form. He can't process the order yet but as soon as he can he'll push it through.

"Tough crowd, tough crowd" *straightens tie*

I guess I should have said:
    • They, like many others have mentioned, will be putting a $15K Dealer Premium on their allocations

am i not understanding something here? this "limited production" thing, is it something new for the 2017 raptors? because its my understanding if want the new raptor you can order it. there is no such thing as "ford is only going to build X amount of these trucks" if someone could verify this looming question that everyone seems to be unsure about that would be fantastic

No limited production. Limited availability maybe at first just because of the numbers ordered, but no limits on production.

If you're told otherwise by the dealer it's either because they don't know or are trying to cheat you.

Yeah that's what I understood. But it seems so many others believe that they are only going to make X amount of raptors. If you want one you can get one.
