I was washing my 2019 raptor the other day and found a crack down the middle of the rear tail light. I am not getting moisture in the lens, but it is a sizeable crack, no doubt purchased that way. I took it to the dealership and they filed for a warranty replacement last weekend. Ford turned it down. The response was as follows: "We are able to verify a crack in the left tail lamp assembly. As lamp assemblies are non-stressed component, crack will only occur when influenced by an outside source. Soft impacts can occur and not leave any marring or impact marks. Comparable examples of non-warrantable damage to lamps can be found inside the exterior Lighting Concern Analysis General Bulletin (GSB)." So this is likely nothing more than crap service from Ford, but I wanted to give a heads up to fellow owners that I suppose someone bumping your tail light is enough to damage it.
Not surprising, but thanks for the heads up. Thank goodness it isnt leaking on letting moisture in yet. When that happens, I bring it to another dealer and try to get it replaced.
