I saw a youtube video of a guy claiming he had the new spec sheets for the 2020 Raptor! He say's there is no V8 option for the engine choice? In fact nothing has really changed at all! Except for two new color choices. I'm a little disappointed! I have been waiting and excited for the new 2020 Raptor with a new engine choice and maybe some other modifications. I thought the beginning of a new decade would have been a perfect time for a new look, New engine choice. I was hoping there would be at least one V8 Option! I just was curious to see if it would be the new Godzilla 7.2 liter V8 or the 5.2 liter supercharged V8 from the Mustang GT? To find out there is no real changes kinda sucks! Although I know the Raptor is all ready a perfect beast and what more can you do to improve perfection? But it still would have been nice to have something new? How is Ford going to compete with the Rebel TRX? Doesn't seem like a good marketing strategy?
Is it possible he is wrong? Or can that spec sheet be followed up by a new one in a couple of months? If anyone can confirm this is true please do! My plan was to try and buy the 2020 Raptor by March 2020.

Maybe a special edition later but I am fairly certain no other option in the Raptor other than the TT V6. Sorry folks

V8 is gone (for now) but not forgotten. With the plethora of common ecoboost issues that are driving warranty costs up and profits down, Ford has to move a new engine in. No idea what it will be, but the ecoboost is not viable for the future. I am not sure why anyone with half a brain would want to gamble on the ecoboost.

Considering the majority of Ford's vehicle sales are all ecoboost motors, they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Funny I was on the quarterly conference call for Ford earnings and it would seem that your above comments are completely false. In Fact Fords warranty numbers are not up - they are very consistent with their sales numbers and they are running 30 to 40 basis points BELOW GM's numbers. Fords numbers are DOWN about 25 basis points in the last 10 years (long before there was an ecoboost engine) Anyway - your opinions are your opinions but lets keep the FAKE NEWS to yourself. You want to argue the NUMBERS with me - bring it on.

That guy is here just to get a rise out of us. He never has anything positive to contribute. I'm still not sure why he even comes on a forum just to bash the product. Must have nothing at all to do...

Considering the 3.5 has been around since 2010, I think the chart sums it up. And the HO was out in 17. Show us this so called spike for 2018.

FoMoCo sells every Raptor they make, I don't see them changing the raptor anytime soon. The 3.5 EB is a very reliable engine, literally millions out there, major success for FORD.

Notice the chart goes to 2018 actually! Notice that you are a troll. Notice that you dont even own a Raptor. Notice that NOBODY on this forum thinks you are anything more than a nuisance. Notice that you are not changing the hearts and minds you are only convincing us all that you work for Dodge or GM. Notice that the vast majority or the people on this forum have never had a major engine problem with there Raptor. Notice that this forum would be a significantly better experience if you never posted again. AND Notice how many other forum members agree with me. (other forum members - Can I get an AMEN??!!!)

The proof is there - enough to where there are SSMs and now a coming TSB for the cam phaser issue. Ford only does that when they know there is a problem.
