I'm on the road quite a bit and I listen to various books through the Audible app (bluetooth through iPhone X) as I drive. If I'm streaming a book from my iPhone (through the FR radio) at the same time as I'm using the Raptor's Navigation system, the navigation instructions do override the bluetooth (music, a book or whatever else I may be streaming) - as it should. However, the Audible narration continues as the navigation is speaking. So I'm having to constantly "rewind" the book narration so as not to miss parts of it. What I thought the A2DP was supposed to do is PAUSE the stream while the navigation instructions are coming through instead of allowing the bluetooth streaming to continue running in the background. Is that your understanding of how A2DP is supposed to work? Is there a setting on the Raptor menus somewhere that I can change? I couldn't find a setting on my iPhone to fix this either. This feature worked correctly on my old iPhone 8 and the Corvette that I used to have.
I think the issue is the book is streaming bluetooth on your phone but you are using the factory navigation. I would bet if you switch to an Iphone based nav program (google maps or waze or whatever) then the book will pause when the nav has directions for you. OR maybe you can still use the factory Ford navigation but instead of bluetooth plug your phone in to the USB port to listen to books - maybe that will solve the problem. let us know
When I plug my phone in to the USB port and use Google maps with any number of steaming apps, Spotify or Amazon music, they overlap each other so I'm getting directions while my music is still playing. Super annoying hoping we get an answer to it. I'm using a pixel 3xl so it sounds like phone os isn't the issue
