Hi guys, even though this is my first Ford product I am a believer in the platform that they have created for me to start my build.

A little background on me, being a Canadian you wouldn't think of us as being a "desert racing" supportive community.. but! we have an amazing following of desert racing die hards. We even have a race shop I helped get back up and going over the last year called Baja North in Kamloops where I live. I have been on two different race teams and have participated in the Mint 400 and the Baja 1000 where I grew a passion for desert style pre-runner trucks and built my 2014 Silverado up.

My Silverado was lacking power and a off-road specific frame like the gen 2 so I am excited to have a better starting platform.

My goals are set very high for my 2017 SCREW and I thought I would start with a list of upgrades that I will be installing throughout the build.

I will be upgrading the shock package to an Adjustable coiler system in the front with bypass and also a adjustable rear set as well. hoping to run the stock shocks through the winter and my top end stuff spring thru fall.

I will be installing a rear frame bumpstop kit from RPG

I will be upgrading the rear springs to a Deaver F85 leaf pack to allow a little more travel and negative spring rate.

I have a Lowrance 7HDS touch offered GPS and Point-1 Antenna with a custom mount once I find a good location in the cab, also a piggy back iPad mini mounted with Mob Armor for my Co-piolt

I have a PCI race radio that will be going in the centre console

I will be upgrading the upper A-arms and steering spindle in the front as well

I have decided against the factory beadlocks for method race beadlocks with two spares

I will be running two full size spares in the bed on a custom mount so a bed cover is out of the equation for me.

I will be doing some extensive exhaust work to make it sound more race truck than street truck as well.

The list will continue as I await the delivery of my Raptor scheduled for Jan 19
